Re: Scta 2010
Unfortunately CRC and Niagara dont play each other enough to make this division worth watching. CRC and Niagara split the series, maybe CRC squeeks out one more win, rest of the season they both go undefeated. The real test will be tournament hockey and we all know what the past has shown us!
Oakville is still trash, will spend most of the year killing penalties or dealing with suspensions. hamilton always finds a way to be competitive, STA has lost too much talent. Burlington lost some scoring but I think they will be a top 3-4 team
Re: Scta 2010
You might be in for a surprise. Have you even seen the final rosters?
Re: Scta 2010
THe only surprise will be how little playing time your boy gets even despite having a losing record.Guest wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 12:04 pmYou might be in for a surprise. Have you even seen the final rosters?
Re: Scta 2010
Did Niagara pick up a slew of STA players? If they did, where did the Niagara players go?Guest wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 12:27 amSo, I guess you figure OR didn't pick up much talent, and that STA losses weren't that significant. I'm not buying ether assumption. STA will have a hard time staying in the top half, and Hamilton or OR will push them out of the top 3.
How accurate is it that Hamilton lost 9 kids to other teams? I assume they went to Alliance...
Re: Scta 2010
Who cares it’s a AA league. Not one player in this league will play in the OHL the following year.
Re: Scta 2010
I know all the significant changes from last season for the top teams, I can easily say our top teams have not closed the gap with the Easts top teams. QRD and YSE both got better, BJC took 4 big losses but will still be good. What has happened in the East is the top 4 teams have loaded up with top players from the mid pack teams, that league will have 6 teams that will be far behind in the standings.
I fear the West may not be very well represented this season.

Re: Scta 2010
Sadly the west is low end AA now. Other than CRC and NN I don’t think any of the teams in the west could challenge the top half of G AA. The AAA caliber kids have all left and only the OMHA and G garbage is left.Guest wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 9:10 pm I know all the significant changes from last season for the top teams, I can easily say our top teams have not closed the gap with the Easts top teams. You can pretend it’s not true but you know it’s true.
Re: Scta 2010
You seem to forget about the amazing individual talents on CRC. Not only will you witness greatness, but you will see some of the best individual talent ever witnessed in SCTA history. Being the draft year, this individuality will shine. We know how much RS relies on his top player but NOW he can allow multiple players to dipsy doodle their way into glory. Anybody else who tries to do the same should learn to play the game the right way because coach will not allow it! Just sit back and watch the magic folksGuest wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 9:10 pm I know all the significant changes from last season for the top teams, I can easily say our top teams have not closed the gap with the Easts top teams. I have been a Super Elite Scout for a very long time and I have watched a lot of minor hockey and I can tell you with the utmost truth that this CRC team is the real deal, from the super intelligent, adapt to the game coaches on the bench, to the teamwork of each individual player and the outstanding super human talent of a select few players that I dont understand why the coaches even take them off the ice. I would be surprised if every player on this team wasn't drafted, coaches includedGuest wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 8:09 amYou seem to forget about the amazing individual talents on CRC.
