Ya some spring teams will do that but then when their ringers don't show up they look awful and get pumped. It happened a few weeks ago.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 6:41 pmGuest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 5:54 pmNo I was hoping for a mid pack team to compete with the mid pack teams and instead I think we could be the bottom.Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 4:13 pmWere you expecting a mid pack.A team to make the jump and compete with the top AA teams?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 18, 2025 2:20 pm Is anyone else here doubting their move from A to AA? We’ve been run over in every game of the tournaments so far including by some
Teams in the loop that we will face next year. Losing 14-0 is not fun and what purpose is it serving? Maybe moving up a level makes sense if you go on your own to a good or at least ok team. But moving with half a dozen others might have been a mistake. It’s too late now probably but I have to wonder what will happen to our players confidence.
It could be a challenging year but with good coaching you might be surprised at the development that comes out of it. It may be a blessing in disguise to be a bottom third team because you won’t have over ambitious parents or coach trying to angle for the next thing.
I would also caution not to look at spring results. If you are losing 14-0 it’s to one of these teams with 3-4 AAA call ups who obviously won’t be an issue in the regular season.
You should definitely be worried about next year, you lost 12-0 to a pure AA team without any AAA kids.
TA just have fun playing MJ ST HV, those will be close. No coach will save any of those teams and no development will be had except how to deal with losses.
