I think this issue is as old as the game of hockey and coaching.

I heard VRE suffers from this issue

Are you saying the coach should cut his son?

Maybe he should coach select ?

Nah, nice guy but unfortunately gets easily influenced by other people’s views and opinions.
Championship teams need a real BOSS coach who is in full control over all decisions made.

You've obviously never met him. VRE coach is a know it all. He's cut more parents than kids.

I know a parent on that team. Says the coach doesn’t run practice. Often not even on the ice.

Tiers in no particular order:

Tier 1: FH, SIR, VRE

Tier 2: WH, TA, NT, TR

Tier 3: NYK, LF, YM

Tier 4: WHAWKS, MI, GPR

VRE went undefeated with their new roster at the canlan tournament last weekend. Dispatched WH twice who had AA upgrades as well as the AVS. TRT didn't make it into the semis. WH won over a WH AA / SIR combo team.

VRE’s new roster lol. More like the super subs they had playing in the finals against WH. Forefit coming after suiting up players who didn’t play a single game in the round Robin. Since when was VRE’s coach’s kid the best player on the ice lol?!?!

It’s summer hockey. Highly doubtful that the tournament rosters will resemble the actual rosters come the start of the season. All 4 semi-finalists had 3-4 AA+ players on their rosters committed to AA next year. VRE may have had a couple kids that play or played AAA too. Congrats to them for winning a summer tournament. All the coaches know what they are getting into when they sign up.

LOL VRE had 1 call up from AA, WH had 2.

Spring hockey or not, if you’re saying VRE had a ringer wearing the coach’s kid’s jersey, that’s a pretty serious allegation.

You clearly don't know what your talking about so let me fill you in. 1 Vaughan has a paid coach and there hasn't been a "coaches kid" on that VRE team since U14. Every player on that VRE spring team is on the actual team they had no super subs just really good committed players that just beat a good WH team. yes one of the coach's kid had a great tournament but it's only spring and no one will be this loose and this care free when it comes to the regular season and playoffs and since when does a kid having a good tournament make him a ringer lol. Your just salty that your kids got rocked by THE Vaughan Rangers East who had no AAA ringers and no AA ringers not once but twice. you can even go back and see the other games for VRE every player on that VRE team played games in the round robin and will be kicking your kids ass in the regular season just like they did in the spring. VRE recruited well got better and will be the new big dawg in the east next year Believe it. and btw I think VRE we're one of the only teams that actually had there full and real team unlike SIR and unlike the Avalanche and dare I say WH.
