What is it about some hockey Dads that rub the frickin Brick tournament in your face. There is one on our team that his kid is on the Brick and the guy never shuts up about it. Worse yet, he puts me down/kid down for not being on a Brick team. Always asks, try to go to another skate, maybe someone will drop off, contact Pro Hockey coach. Always talks about latest exhibition game, development skate, how much better the Brick team is versus our AAA team, wants to go to a AAA Super team (TM), travel plans to Alberta. I try to change topics but no luck .. feel like I just need to punch the dude in the mouth. Do Brick Dad's get better over time?

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but you have another year of his crap ahead. He will show up to the rink in his Brick jacket, talk about the tournament and how fantastic an experience it was for his kid. Fortunately, if you are on this thread then they will likely make it to the semi finals at best. The US teams just take the best players that they can so they are usually stronger. He will gravitate to parents on next year’s teams to give unsolicited advice before finally realizing that nobody cares by U12.

The problem with the Brick is that it has become a rich kids’ tournament. I watched a few kids from our centre at the Brick last year. Exceptional players, but the best player on that team was not there. Parents are not poor, but also not in a position to drop 10-15K for two seasons of Spring hockey. I am sure there are 5-10 kids in Ontario right now that could push the Toronto teams over the top, but they were overlooked for kids whose parents lined pockets for 2 years. There are also those that committed to playing for TM next to get a spot, which is absolute garbage and they should really replace Bulldogs with a Klevr team…

RW the purple cobras guy hasn’t stopped bragging. Son is wearing the brick jacket cold or hot weather at every canlan tournament lol. These people look like fools.

Hate to break it to you but any team with R-R-R-R-R-R-R-alphie, Mama Junes kid and the tall Estonian girl doesn't slot into the "AAA Super Team" category. Retard.
