There seems to be a significant disconnect between the number of Asian born players that are dominant/very good at the younger ages - particularly pre-puberty ages U13-U15 relative to the number of impactful players in the OHL/OJHL/NCAA etc once the growth curve evens out. Obviously there’s a lot of speculation as to why that is, my kid would look really dominant playing against kids 1-2 years younger too.

In terms of girls playing with boys. I think it’s fine at younger ages for the girls that are clearly ahead of their female peer group. Women/Girl’s hockey has come a long way in the last 5+ years. Once you get to hitting (U14) the girls should cycle back to girl’s hockey as the quality of competition typically has caught up by that point as again the girls are mostly post puberty at that point. Girls playing with boys with hitting is an accident waiting to happen for obvious reasons.
Keeping the girl on the Nats in U15 is stupid on all the adults part

We've already done three spring tournaments, including Nashville, and this one is by far the best value. The cost is $500 USD, and the kids receive a free CCM stick, training gear, hoodie, plus Howies tape and accessories—all included. Exceptional coaches, top-tier facilities, and scouts will be in attendance. If you didn’t get an invite, don’t be sour—just stay curious about what makes this event stand out.

90% of the names from Ontario are just average to above average AAA players, literally nobody is sour. It's a list of the crazies who have been to 200x85 camps.

The AAA tryout window has been closed for 33 days, and you've already done three spring tournaments? Congratulations, you're an idiot, satisfying your own F.O.M.O at the expense of your son's long term health and development. No meaningful rest after a long season is not making him better, nor is U15 spring hockey getting him one inch closer to being drafted in U16. If he's already good enough to be one of the 300 kids drafted after U16, see previous comment regarding your own F.O.M.O.

Seems like there's a lot of missing kids from outside Ontario.

The American list is not great either.
