They looked good
They were in the finals in a Canlan tournament

They even smashed 'top 4' Rebels in a tourney.

Reps D is much improved, but that Canlan tournament only had 4 teams so just need to win the last game to make it to the finals...

Of course they are improved. The coach moved his son back to forward

Lots of ppl actually think the reps will jump into the top 8 this year. The only other team to improve as much was DMF, they kept the core and added some top talent as well.

does anyone think it's possible for 10 and 11 year old kids to improve/grow other 3 months of the summer?

DMF did not improve, nice try. And that core you mention isn’t even from a top 6 team. They just don’t have the coaching to ever take the next step and they’ve proven it over and over.

If you know anything about physiology, yes. There’s no reason your kid can’t grow 1-2” and gain 5-10 lbs of muscle in 3 months during the summer.
If this isn’t happening then the kid is either genetically deficient or you ain’t doing the right things baby

The reps are essentially run like a mom and pop shop. Basically secure some sort of income for the crazy blonde lady (coach's wife )and guarantee their kid plays AAA.

Do you mean the "power skating coach" whose son falls down every 5 minutes?

And people wonder why minor hockey is so expensive. If the reps Reps allow this chick to get $1 of team budget money then that tells you everything you need to know about why the Reps are in last place every year.

I thought she was a Joga instructor? Now she's a power skating coach too?

This sounds like it’s run similar to omha teams poor structure parent coaches who are atrocious and think they can run development. At least reps don’t have 5 plug kids that get spots because daddy is a motivational speaker or are friends with the association executives bottom teams doing bottom team things
