Same story, every year.
I am really happy to see the PHD and TBD teams continue to struggle against top teams. I took my kid to both tryouts and he’s on a top 4 team and performed well but didnot get picked. I was worried he would be missing out on something big so thought about making a few calls. I didn’t and now glad I didn’t. When they struggle I am happy because me kid isn’t missing out on much expect top tier practices that I am fixing with privates at Ford anyways. If those teams were doing well I’d struggle to see them win knowing my kid should b out there
Real future hockey players are out playing baseball and soccer right now, not chasing the fake-dream Brick tournament. They're all-around athletes, not rink rats burning out by 13. And no, they’re not doing endless privates at Ford either. They’re off the ice.

Sure, midget legends like Guido’s kid and SR look unstoppable at U10/U11 - until the AA Animal shows up at U15 and folds them like lawn chairs. You heard it here first.

– A scout.
Three killers of Brick burnout players dreams: hitting, high school and the AA animal who shows up in U14 with 5 inches and 50 lbs on them. It happens every year and those of us who have been around the block a few times know it all too well.

Big ass kids who started later and weren’t on ice 6 days a week and are playing football or soccer in June look clunky on the ice at U9 and then in 5 years they show up and it’s game over.

Scariest kid is the one you haven’t heard of. Bet.

Agreed with above, but there are also kids playing in the Brick or AAA that will grow to be 5 inches and 50 lbs on others that will even be that much better at U14 or 15. High School is a big factor, the path could lead to complete shut down in sports for a time. But I agree there will be a few that come out of the woodwork.

Wow bitter… so your kids on a top 4 team… Tried out for both teams and didn’t get picked.. so he’s not in the top 40 kids in Ontario but he should be there… and you mad or happy he didn’t make it I’m confused? Sound like you’d live to be here if you could but you can’t cuz your kids 💩 enjoy that bitterness it looks great on you.

The top 20-25 kids might be there, but PH and TBD did not pick the best players in Ontario. Not even close. That is why they don’t win. Too many pocket lining parents buying spots.

Heard he's taking a plea deal , only guilty people take those. Anyone who associates with this criminal should take a long look in the mirror. This is how David first started out too.

You know I’m the type of person that really has to give credit when credit is due… the TBD have really outdone themselves this year by taking on all of 2015’s mentally handicapped children… it certainly takes a strong group of people and coaches with the most outstanding leadership and mentorship to guide these kids through something like this… certainly can’t have RL look out of the norm so the only way to do this is match his mental IQ and s s s s s s speaking ability… so a big round of applause to the Lamacchia’s for taking in such a group… really should’ve signed them up for the special Olympics, though I feel as though they may have had a little bit better turn out there rather than being embarrassed the entire brick tournament… the parent group is also top-tier mixed with drug addicts and drug dealers, woman beaters, pedophiles, and sexual assaulters… they have truly outdone themselves this year… the likely just be told to go out there and fight again when they’re losing or at the end of the game to show the real bull in the dog….
