Re: Brick 2025
Who is the favourite to win this year? From the 2015 AAA thread, sounds like TB is not strong. Is it going to be another USA victory or are there any decent Canadian teams?

Re: 2015 AAA
It is amazing to read TB defend themselves on this site. Give Pro Hockey the Toronto market and let Klevr take over with kids from the rest of the province. KV has enough cash from hockey and the KSL, he would put together a super team that could actually win the Brick.

Re: Aurora Hockey
I live a long way from Aurora but I am bored during the intermission and this thread is an entertaining read. Just an FYI, our local association has a board full of self-serving coaches who prioritize their own teams at the expense of the organization. They used to have a rule against coaches on the ...

Re: 2015 AAA
What is the next great tournament after the Brick? Honestly, feel like a second class citizen in AAA not going to the Brick and don't want this to happen in U13. Is there anything out there internationally or in Canada that equates to Brick Tournament in two years?
The Quebec pewee ...

Re: 2016 AAA
Seems pretty unanimous that Markham Waxers 2016 AAA will be the worst AAA team in Ontario. Now where does Markham Majors stand in the grand scheme of things?
Don't underestimate how bad some other OMHA teams will be. I would put money on the field over Waxers as being the worst.
But will ...

Re: Hamilton Steel
We played in the Hamilton Steel tournament, 2015 age group. I have no dog in this fight but I will say it is the only tournament that gave me free Tim Horton’s coffee and donuts. That alone put you at the top of the list. I also really enjoy reading this thread when I want to have a laugh on the can ...

Re: 2015 AAA
Good luck at tryouts everyone. Reading this page makes me sad that most teams shouldn’t even bother. We might have one spot to be determined, lol. Good luck anyway!

Re: 2015 AAA
No doubt it’s an Ivy League school. It just goes to show you that no matter what school you end up, you still need to be a good person and student otherwise you end up as a bottom feeder like ML preying on unsuspecting families and posting on MHT all day.
Who would let their kid be ...

Re: 2015 AAA
I'm confused here. GTHL kids are actually travelling to places like Boston to try and make a team that will play in the brick tournament?
Is this real or a joke.
that is normal. happens every year for a few families that didn’t make Toronto teams. every age group has a few. but ...

Re: US tournaments
Few are boycotting over politics...it is the Cdn $ that keeps people from travelling to the US
PS when the $ was a lot better everyone enjoyed the weekend...shopping, cheap booze/beer, a few late nights, lots of laughs and different competition.....for all the boycotting people take a look where ...
