Angus MacDonell signs with Dallas: Future star or depth signing?

The Dallas Stars just inked OHLer Angus MacDonell to an entry-level deal. MacDonell put up decent numbers this season in Brampton, but is it enough to suggest he has true top-six potential at the NHL level? His point production is definitely there, but does his smaller stature raise concerns about his ability to transition to the pro game?
