There are kids on quite a few teams that are looking to just injure and not play hockey. Coaches promote this behavior if they have teams that cannot compete.
I love hard hitting hockey like the 4 nations games, the dirty crap in minor hockey is just garbage.

It’s always the kids who can’t skate and loser dad tells them they have to play rough and tough. The problem is they don’t understand what rough and tough means in the game of hockey. It’s definitely not cheap shots from behind 3 feet from the boards. Before this kid really hurts someone, he should be kicked out of the G for good. 44 is lucky his first penalty that game didn't end up the same way.
Both times he coughed up the puck and made dirty plays because he couldn't catch his guy.

No dumber parents than parents of the bottom 6 AAA teams- no fun, 20k, no chance to win - or go to a AA team - develop your kid w lots of ice time, find a good home for your kid w a good team culture and a chance to win the OHF - seems easy choice to me

No dumber parents then the ones paying large $$$ under the table to have their little bender sit on the bench and collect undeserved trophies.
