Whatever helps you sleep at night. Good teams find a way to win when it matters. MI first place in their pool after RR. Do you get a medal for that?

MI went in to the finals with the same record as FH. FH had the tougher draw in their pool while Markham had a tougher schedule. No matter which way you spin it, an East team was going to the finals. No matter how much you want to whine, all the kids left everything on the ice and battled with passion. Let's not discredit any of the teams for representing the G in the Silver Stick Finals. It was a weekend of great hockey

They play the kind of hockey that puts them over the top in the playoffs. It happens every year.
