Under ager is 2nd best player.
D has 2 good players to..

It was pretty much all TM kids on the team from what I saw. I think I counted 6 out of 9 players were from TM. They know how to play with each other....shocked I didn't notice the same chemistry with the VK squad. As if they hadn't played with each other before.

TRW looked stronger and more in tune with each other than VK.

How did TRW do better than VK???

People, it was a family day 3 on 3 tournament. Who cares. Most teams were a mixed bag of players from different teams.

Because it was only a handful of TRW kids. The whole weekend was just a mix of kids

I get the whole parent coach labelling, but what's the difference with Managers or "sponsors" pushing their narrative. To me that's even worse, like what's going on with the RW

Managers and sponsors influence is way worst then parent coach. At least in a parent coached team you go in knowing what you’re in for and majority of parent coaches are unpaid. The silent control and parents buying control like TRW is the worse case scenario as i bet majority of families had to clue what they signed up for. But it’s easy to point fingers at parent coaches as the problem.

I agree the TRW is hiding behind coaches basically calling the shot but making it look like they’re impartial

Speaking with LD and curious who is this person calling the shots. I’m very unsure as it doesn’t appear to be that stable of a group and not getting clear answers on who’s staying and who’s going. Is LVR really leaving, what about LN and LJ? Why does it seem like the parent group is on here attacking each other.

LD’s special is lack of communication. Committed to 12+ forwards and 8+ D so far, even worse than last year. I’d run not walk from that situation.

So when do the decommits start? That’s a pretty over commitment.

Talk of the 'great' goalies in the AAA loop are only of those on the best teams - and we've all seen those games where the goalie gets the 'win' when seeing 2 shots. Where is talk of 'great' goalies who are losing 7-1, but stopping 35 of 42 shots?

GTHL AA loop has goalies that could walk into AAA at this age group, but don't because of politics or because parents can't afford the stupid prices. Or simply because they don't want to pay $10k+ for their kid to sit on the bench 50% of the time (except Tendy's parents, apparently).

Tex was exposed as a brick goalie for a terrible team. Got lit up. Saint played well but still didn't win the brick, strong team in front of him, still lost. HS gets exposed every time a better team than VK plays against them. FM saw 6 shots in 5 games and won PHD 3v3. It means nothing. Call us all when they've proven themselves at U15 AAA.

Listen a bad Goalie at U 11 is just like Guido’s bald head. You can’t cover them up much longer.

AA goalies will be fine facing bottom AAA shots, but once again, it all depends on what team is in front of you at the AAA level. In AA, that's not the case as there are no real teams or players that threaten to shoot at a AAA level with any real consistency. AA goalies won't know until they are in the AAA mix.

Not true at all - good AA goalies are as good, if not better, than some AAA goalies. There simply aren't enough spaces in AAA for the talent pool. AA has some BIG goalies who are excellent, HVS as an example. And don't get me wrong, there are some shit AAA goalies at the moment, who shouldn't be in AA, farless AAA, but again, politics and the people you know keep them put for the time being. To balance the scales, there are AA goalies who cannot compete either - good example was the Tigers 2014 goalie at Family Day 3v3. Couldn't match the AAA speed to save his life. Unfortunate for him and parent to blame for putting in that position.

That said - put a AAA kid who knows how to shoot the puck top corner glove side, hard, and accurately, and they score every time. Doesn't matter who the goalie is - even HS or the Saint. They score every time because goalies aren't 6+ feet tall and players are ahead. When they even out, the game settles down. Yes, there are genuine AA goalie who cannot compete at AAA level, and that's why AA and A, BB, House etc. exist. But to make sweeping statements that "AA goalies will be fine facing bottom AAA shots" and "In AA, that's not the case as there are no real teams or players that threaten to shoot at a AAA level with any real consistency" is just not true. There are also players who are AAA caliber who choose to play AA because AAA is a gongshow. It's the team in front that makes or breaks goalies at this age. End of story. Highlighted by some of the terrible games HS has had. Want to see how good he is without a team in front of him? Get him to play a game with SYB or Aeros. See what the end score is when they're up against TRT or EE.
