Steel getting an automatic bid to the Quebec Pee Wee? For what years? May be worth looking at them if this is the case.Guest wrote: ↑Mon Dec 23, 2024 11:45 am Let's face facts, our U12 team couldn't even win our own tournament and lost to a very mediocre Barrie team. We didn't make it into the playoff round of the Silver Sticks. If we don't want to embarrass ourselves in Quebec next year we NEED to make changes. That's just the cold hard reality.
We've called the top players in our league and the Alliance and didn't get any bites from them to come to the Steel.
We've had some of our own players call GTHL teams but nobody got offers. That will turn out to be a good thing.
Let's stop the stupid remarks and start recruiting kids like Ryder, Palansky, BB and Cafaro NOW so that we can improve the team for the Quebec Pee Wee. The fact that we're playing in that tournament is a great feeling feature and with open borders they can head back to the GTHL after next year if they want to. I've been told that Spaniard might be open to the move back as well. The Oakville starting tendy is looking for a new home, why not get ourselves a true #1 between the pipes?
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for our kids next year, let's not screw this up! Make the calls, make offers they can't refuse if we need to. A good showing in Quebec will make everything worth it!

Pretty positive you are not even a member of this organization based on your previous comments. Perhaps you should focus on your current organization.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 10:46 amThat’s not true at all. NS would not make a difference but every other one of those kids mentioned would be an upgrade and play significant minutes. You either refuse to open your eyes or you’re the parent of a kid like AF or AA who would get cut if those kids came. We need to make the team better or Quebec will be a short and not very sweet trip.Guest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 24, 2024 9:16 am First of all, only one of those kids mentioned would improve the team. Secondly, it is unrealistic to expect 11 years old kids to win every single game and never have an off day.

Pretty sure they are or why would they give a f@ck

Win your Steel tournament first and then call us ass clowns.
Sorry to break the news to you but if your kid is on the bottom line as a forward or the last D pairing then the coach is looking to replace you. That's the sad reality of triple A hockey, teams are always trying to upgrade their worst players.
