Now go look at the standings.
If my kid was really good and looking for a team those were the only 4 id even consider

Ever other team seems to have an annual carrosel of kids and drama / nonsense.
The Toro’s are looking for players. They don’t turnover many kids each year. New coache coming on board, should be much stronger next year.

It’s always those same parents “chasing the dream” not realizing that things aren’t always better “on the other side”. Poor kids have to make new friends and figure out their position on the new team. Unless you’re moving your kid from a bottom 5 team to a top 5 team it’s usually not worth the hassle to move from one mid tier team to another.
All you need to do is look at where teams finished last year and where they are trending this year…

-Top 2 teams have remained the same
-toros and terriers are at 7 less wins than year
-rattlers and north stars are down about 6 wins each
-Sharks and streetsville only teams that seem to have gotten it right with +7 wins vs last year
-eagles are exactly where they were last year

Maybe parity is what is evening things out but the ‘chasing wins’ strategy seems to be a losing one for most parents - when really it should be about the kids
You can’t blame someone for leaving a team. Maybe they don’t like the coaches style (personal preference), team discipline, some kids goofing around and bullying. You don’t know the reason so don’t judge. But i do agree with parents chasing what has been promised to them. This year the promise is winning the OHF’s. Who cares about the OHF’s. Rattlers will be a disaster next year. Book it!
OHF and Rattlers. Are you kidding me. Those are some Big promises or better yet Small promises that never deliver
The Terriers coach is also making the same promises.

Are you kidding me!?

J should be reported to the GTHL office for attempting to poach players from other teams.

I always thought it was just a VP issue.
It’s poaching season. JD isn’t the only coach doing it.

Free rides are typically offered by bottom teams like WM - not MT

As long as there are enough parents willing to pay the GTHL fees for their kids to play AA teams like Wolverines, Westmall and Duffield will continue to exist. Anyone wants to take a guess if there are enough gullible parents?

Watched the game VP took 10 penalties should have had 15. Beast took 5 should have had 2.

Good game back and forth.

VP coach is a disgrace. Should have been thrown out, poor role model for the kids.
