Oh come on! There are pages of these comments from SIR parents after the dust up with VRE. Keep pointing the finger at the kids who retaliate. Everyone else understands what SIR is all about. Maybe it was 27, or maybe it was another kid. But in both the VRE and WH games it all started with a SIR player running the goalie. How about you tell your boys to not do that? And we can all avoid suspensions!Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 11:07 amClutch yer pearls!! SIR 27 is the dirtiest player in the loop hands down. I'm not surprised by this. Nothing has changes on the ice or at school. Same old shit.
Cuz there were no suspensions for WH right?

The goalie on VRE dove at him he was skating by outside the crease for sure, but that goalie dove at himGuest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 11:52 amOh come on! 3 for SIR (1 for head contact that sent a kid to hospital, 2 for inciting fights)
1 for WH for head contact
So triple the amount I’m told.
Bottom line is SIR initiated all, for really no reason because they were going to win either way. Now they just lose players for later games that may matter more.
They are an excellent team, and they hurt themselves (and others, literally) for having such an untamed violent side. Just play the hockey and they could take the whole thing with pride.
Re: 2010 GTHL A East
SIR had nothing to do with the West Hill kid driving an sir kid into the boards head first with less than a minute left in the game. Getting a five-game suspension. That doesn't take away from the goalie and soon that shouldn't have happened. But let's call a spade a spade.

True. my bad. Should not have said “all.”Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 2:10 pm SIR had nothing to do with the West Hill kid driving an sir kid into the boards head first with less than a minute left in the game. SIR initiated their own 3 suspensions (and all fights). And WH initiated their 1 suspension, and it was definitely an awful, pointless hit with 30 seconds left. Cost all those kids a bunch of games for no reason.
Re: 2010 GTHL A East
SIR baits teams into retaliating. Sounds like what the WH kid was ugly. But if SIR hadn't run their goalie a couple minutes earlier, that ugly hit never happens. SIR has been the instigator enough times against a bunch of different teams we can call it a strategy. Maybe it's not the coach telling the kids to run goalies. But it's obvious he's not telling them NOT to run goalies. Just like other coaches aren't telling their kids to retaliate. But they're not telling them NOT to retaliate. There are different ways to approach the game of hockey. Stuff we complain about here goes on in AAA and AA every night and no one complains. But we signed up for NON-CONTACT hockey for our kids. And if SIR wants to play a tough, intimidating style they should move to AA.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 2:10 pm SIR had nothing to do with the West Hill kid driving an sir kid into the boards head first with less than a minute left in the game. And I stand by what I said earlier. This doesn't just happen when teams play SIR. It happens when teams play SIR in Scarborough. The VRE game was at Don Montgomery. The LF and WH games were both at Scarborough Centennial. If I'm FH or TA, I'm not taking my kids to play Scarborough anywhere that isn't a neutral site.

So STFU and don’t come to Scarborough.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 2:52 pmSIR baits teams into retaliating. Sounds like what the WH kid was ugly. Re: 2010 GTHL A East
lol Look it's almost U16 in A non-contact hockey. This is the pre-cusor to the crappy beer league divsion these kids will soon be in. You can't expect much, and what you can expect is dumb frustration and poorly played hockey. It is what it is. Enjoy it before it's over.Guest wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 2:52 pmSIR baits teams into retaliating. Sounds like what the WH kid was ugly.
