Congratulations VP no one really cheers for you because of your domination the last 2 seasons and the Italian wop comments here but again hats off great performance! VR will put up a fight I feel and hope to see some exciting hockey there ! Eagles go all out us haters of Vaughan are cheering for you ! This is just reality folks real words ! Side note GTHLs schedule the home games are so perfect at home rinks of Vaughan yet everyone else is left playing in locations that they’ve never played in all season what’s with that ? And refs with the icing calls constantly waved off in Vaughan rinks always in Vaughans favour do any of you see this it’s just messed up . Yeah yeah sour grapes VP parents but last nights game MR at least 5 times got shafted on this ( difference maker probably not but it’s really obvious to anyone watching )

MR parent here and I hope other MR parents read this.

This season was a damn fiasco by our team officials and several unhinged parents. If these weird adults had asked for a parent vote on whether or not to appeal the HVS decision, not all parents would have agreed (such as myself) and we would have likely at least a few more playoff games. But like the HVS mom, getting back at her and the org came first, and they did the appeal without speaking to our parent group first. Moronic on the team officials for not realizing that the GTHL policy is written so that they can use multiple rules to enforce one verdict.

Either way, playing VP would have come eventually and they were simply better. We were out coached, defense and smaller players were absolutely physically outmatched, multiple giveaways up the middle and could not score on the powerplay with a 5 on 3 and 5 min major in separate games.

Lastly, horrible to see the VP player with a broken arm or separated shoulder (not sure) leaving the rink at the end of the game. Serious injuries at this age can result in life long changes, so praying he makes a full recovery.

This is one of the best things I've read on here in a long while. Could it be true. A hockey parent that is actually reasonable and respectful ! Really good comment. Appreciate you for saying this.

Yeah, I heard not all Rattlers parents were on board with going to the media and pushing the petition. It’s always just a couple of unhinged ones trying to take on the league. He’s been with the Panthers for a while and has had great success, seems like that’s bothering you, or should I say, making you jealous? He’s well liked, has won awards, and runs a team that people are begging to be part of. Maybe that’s the real issue here, did your kid try out and not make it, or was he cut?
