MM cares about all the kids. Name me one parent coach you have ever had that didn't have a little favoritism towards there own kid? That's just being a human being. Having said that he cares about all the kids and wants the best for them. Gives more ice time to kids that would not get it on other teams.

The two can both be true. He can care about the kids and still want what’s best for his kid and move him up. He’ll then care about the kids on his new team. Who cares. They’re kids and hockey is a short phase in their lives.
