Nope. Cuz only a small % of the current AAA kids get drafted and leave, and you get the double cohort 09s and 08s at U18 AAA. That's why they do the double cohort, to make sure it doesn't get watered down and still stays difficult to make AAA.

You forgot about the kids who quit , move down to AA to play with friends cause parents don't want to waste money any more as well a lot of 2 sport players move to their other sport. So it's not harder it easier sounds like this is a AA delusional parent justifying why his kid finally made AAA.

And the kids that actually do well in school and take it seriously, and want to go to university, not just using ChatGPT for homework and assignments and hoping they make the show.

Depends on how many of these AA kids are willing to take real damage and put their body on the line. It’s not all about being the superstar, those games are tight checking and grind-em. Remember, these are now all the kids who were never good enough to make the O. It’s the outcasts of U16 AAA who want to prove something, and for a lot of them they don't have the talent so that means giving punishment to get noticed and fill that niche. It sounds all fun getting that AAA jacket, but when they have to face 240lb frames and go head to head on the battle line, it depends who can get up and take punishment day in and day out. Those players are a special breed. They’re fearless and will do anything for the team, even if it means permanent damage. From watching these games, there’s not many players who could handle that.
