I heard that the Avalanche and FH had a skate yesterday. Feed back I got, is FH had a lot of kids, quality was average. Avalanche was a good skate with a lot of good kids, and a lot of kids from the east
Many of the good MI players going there. Confirmed MI has blown up due to coaching and poor development. The low end staying and everyone knows it will be bad next year.
doubt it. one thing to go for a skate with a team and another to sign up and play in the west loop. the distance, uncertainly and exposing your top east talent to the ultra competitive west. my bet is east players stay east but move around teams like MI, NYK, FH.
Top end talent from the East have committed already. Teams with spots available are the following
LF - 1
TR - 1
FH - 2
SYB - 3
NT - 4
SIR - 4
EE - 5
MI - 6
NYK - 10

A couple of these MI kids played AAA before, traveling to Mississauga is second nature to them. Avalanche practice out Paramount in Thornhill and play out of York Canlan. Not bad for Markham residents. So travel from Markham to Ted Reeve or Markham to Mississauga, travel time is the same or better if you take the 407
straight from the insider MI parents who want to keep us guessing. my 2 cents is I wouldn't go anywhere near TA. expansion team that is a parent coach and has committed 5-6 kids. why would you leave one parent coach to go to another?

FH skate yesterday was surprisingly impressive. Some very strong kids there and 4 of their top commits weren't able to make it. We were there but aren't committed anywhere. That team will be much improved and if they land some of the kids that were there that are still trying for AAA they'll take a big jump up the standings.

Better coach, that's is going to have a good base of players because coach knows everybody in the hockey circles. Well respected

MI kids are going to every skate....and most of them will end up back in MI. 95 going to LF, #6 going to FH, #78 dad is head case, thinks his kid is better than he is. He will end on a crap team because dad thinks his son will be a difference maker.

NYK - Elite training and spring Summer program don't miss out...Goal is to repeat as Season Champs
Hey, or PuckDaddy93 here. I’m the new sheriff in town and future coach of the NYK. If you would like to contact me about next season, you can direct message me on Instagram, TikTok or X. @puckdaddy93 on all socials.
We’re not looking for toe-drag TikTokers or kids who cry when they get chirped.
If your boy can’t take a hit, block a shot, or handle being benched for soft play — don’t bring him.
Bday skates this weekend. Pack a lunch and a pair.
