Enjoy the summer and coming back in the fall

PS I am sure it will pick up after try outs when people start to see who's going where

I seen the GT Caps the other day and their new team looks better than some AAA teams and they are still playing right now
SYB is going to have a solid D core this year. Got rid of the the over rated AAA addition, smalls and a few others. Replaced them with under sized AAA cuts that are good enough to play AAA, but coaches still are old school looking for size.
So you mean there not good enough to play AAA with hitting

Means they aren’t dominant AAA players where size doesn’t matter. Know a couple of them and they would be playing AAA if based solely on skill. They will outplay the vast majority of kids in AA

I wouldn’t go as far as saying TRT would beat MM, half TRT can’t skate worth a crap and the bottom couple of kids are terrible. But if you are in the bottom 3-4 on MM you probably are not going to have much of an impact in AA but will contribute

You guys all underestimate the difference between AAA and AA. It is huge. The kids getting cut from Sens, MM, TRW, Reps will be better than 95% of the kids playing AA

Truth be told that there are so many kids playing in the wrong level for different reasons - some playing AA that should be in AAA and some in AAA that should be playing AA. Hell some A that should be playing AA. Kids misplaced all the time. Maybe for financial reasons, buddies on the lower level, kid not really caring about making the big show.

YES AND NO They might be way better than he bottom end AA kids but the top AAA are equal or better than many of the AAA kids.

The difference could be parents finances, Connections, or the kid is missing something, (size, effort, etc) I know the AAA loop very well and have a good sense of the AA loop.

Example today in a 3on3 tournament filled with mostly AA kids there was an all AAA team that had mixed kids from the Red wings, NYR kid, Reps that finished 3rd of 4 teams. the team that knocked them out was mostly MI kids The team that won was a mix of CRC, Orangeville and Caledon kids

If it gauges nothing, why do you want to know what tournament it was. You want to gauge their competition, you hypocrite
