Something doesn’t add up here. Why would they get rid of so many kids just to replace them with seemingly weaker ones? And what’s going on with the goalie situation? Last year, they had two relatively strong goalies—maybe not the best in the league, but solid. Were they able to keep both?Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 8:12 amAll six from Select and A.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 7:59 amProbably ST won’t be as weak as some think. They lost 6, though 3 of them were better players, the other 3 are easy to substitute. Probably they found some good kids in omha.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 7:53 amMT and MB both got better.. TW got worst after losing 6 to AAA. MNS got the MB and and MT scrapsGuest wrote: ↑Tue May 06, 2025 2:48 pmIn no specific order:
1-3 TE, VR, MB
4-6 MT, TW, HV
7-10 MNS, ST, WM, FT
TE and VR will remain strong. MB and MT picked up AAA kids, will challenge VR and TE. TW is a rebuilt team, best could be 4th. All teams improved, bottom 4 will have good games vs top teams.
TE lost their best player but still going to be very strong.
ST is going to be a joke

Are you saying that after two years of development in Streetsville, half the team was performing worse than random select and A kids, to the point that they had to be substituted?Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 5:39 pm All the better players stayed and one good player left to play aaa

What I’m saying is the only select kid in this loop is your kid so shut the fu@k up and stop embarrassing yourself with your dumb as$ comments!!

An uncontrolled outburst of anger, combined with an attempt to belittle and insult a child you don’t even know, only shows your immaturity as a person. Maybe you just proved why kids from your team left for AA and AAA, and only those who couldn’t secure a spot in MNS had to stay behind.Guest wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 9:10 pm What I’m saying is the only select kid in this loop is your kid so shut the fu@k up and stop embarrassing yourself with your dumb as$ comments!!
If, in your eyes, my kid is Select or house league level in your eyes, it ok, I can take it. Would you be bold enough to share your son’s number so we can all see what exactly we’re supposed to aspire to. I’m sure he’s a great player and that you’re proud of him. Since he remained on the team, he must be one of the stronger players now that the weaker ones have moved on as you said earlier.

No one cares about ST. make your own thread and talk there. coach made no big moves. you’ll finish where you did last season. Move onGuest wrote: ↑Thu May 08, 2025 8:53 pm An ST dad and an ST cut dad walk into a bar …….
Re: 2014 GTHL AA WEST
Anyone have any honest input on the “bottom” 3 teams ? My son just came from an A team and signed to one of these teams. I know this forum is a lot of angry people venting but does any of it hold merit ? I’m starting to worry maybe we made the wrong decision. We’re new to all the politics I just want to make sure my son is on a team with good coaching and good parents Everything I am reading is terrifying me. My husband is ready to pull him out based on what he’s reading about the coaching and parents on one of these teams , please help me calm him down. I know you can’t really believe much on this forum but any honest input or advice would be very much appreciated. We were sold the pathway to AAA with the best coaches for development dream. I hope we didn’t make the wrong decision

Coming on here to get info is the wrong decision you could have nhl coaches come and coach your kid but that doesn’t guarantee your kid is going AAA it’s up to your kid to put in the work like shooting pucks and practicing stick handling and doing dry land here’s my advice stick with the team your on and if your kid is really good and he stands out other teams will notice and if you decide at end of season you don’t like the team you will at least have options
