I'm hearing Lorne Park and Port Credit will be the strongest teams coming out of the west loop.

lol. First time on this forum and thought this message did not age well. We have destroyed both these teams…and the don’t look like they will make much noise rest of the season.

Yup. PC offered a commit to the now Applewood goalie before the end of last year. Instead they now have a kid that is under 4’ tall in net. LP has 1 or 2 forwards that do the most of their scoring, shut them down and there is not much left.

Mississauga should probably only have had 2, maybe 3 A level teams instead of 4.

Wow a parent letting their 9 year old post on this forum. You did say we. Unless of course you are the coach of the team. Parents do not play the games the kids do.

What is happening to LPC, our team played them this weekend and they look like they haven’t improved maybe 1 kid on forward that was good otherwise not a great team. Noticed Vaughan rangers jumping up the standings.

Some teams are what they are. It is what happens when you have to pick a team 5 months before the season starts. Most kids that are playing A have no aspirations of playing any higher.

What’s the latest in this loop? My kid is doing well in houseleague this year and looking to tryout. When do those happen? Do skates happen before the actual tryouts? Would anyone know what teams would have open spots? Is it too early to tell?

A Tryouts are in May. A couple teams may lose a player or 2 for various reasons. You can reach out to current coaches by their contact info on their association websites. Most teams will probably have skates before tryouts.

Vaughan being Vaughan. Clearly have a kid not on their roster suiting up. He stands out so much it’s laughable.
