Another solid weekend huh JB?!Guest wrote: ↑Tue Dec 03, 2024 4:34 pm They've barely competed with mid level teams. It's not hard to understand why. They don't have an super talented players. They're all average. Coaching has been weak as well. They need a non parent who knows how to coach.
He's already successfully chased a number of London based players out of town! Keep letting him coach...by U16 he'll just AP a whole team of players a year younger! Guys a train wreck!Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 12:39 pm JB might be the coach again next year. Can you imagine? I bet 6 kids get cut and others leave London. No way parents are going to be happy if JB is the coach again.
DE in Chatham and HP in EMC are both difference makers and would add to the team greatly if they were still there. Who from AA is at the AAA level? Think JB already signed a bunch of them last year...who did he miss?Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 12:50 pm Who did he chase from London that is any good? No one. Not one kid playing outside of London is a difference maker. All average, at best.
There are AA kids he should give a serious look at if he wants to improve the team. Both Green and White have some good players.
Didn't hear about the ice time request from the soccer coach...but sounds very believable! If he'd just leave his son to be coached properly I'm sure he'd be a good player. Love the guys that leverage those requests (we'll call it the Bruno Clause!) for their own gain and expect everyone else to pay the same $ and get less. Good on JB for tossing him...keep tearing up the 401 DE!Guest wrote: ↑Mon Jan 27, 2025 1:11 pm Didn't DE's dad demand unlimited ice time? A good coach would tell the dad to pound salt, which JB did. Not exactly killing it in Chatham. HP was leaving on his dad's recommendation to get on a better team and he's no difference maker against good AAA kids. JB didn't chase anyone out of London. The pickings are slim. There might be 2 kids in AA who can make it, but that's it. London will have to recruit from outside if they want to improve the team. The main issue as I see it will be coaching.
